Alpine Club Fall Kickoff Hike to Josephine Peak

• Meet: 10:00am at Clear Creek / Josephine Peak trailhead
• Start hiking: 10:15am
• Duration: ~4.5–5 hours; back at cars around 3:00pm
• Distance: ~8.5 miles round trip
• Elevation gain: ~1,900 ft

Join the Caltech Alpine Club for our fall kickoff hike to Josephine Peak! The route follows a steady, well-graded fire road to the 5,558-ft summit, with views of the San Gabriels and LA basin.

Bring at least 3 L of water, comfortable hiking shoes, sun protection, layers, and snacks/lunch. There is little shade and no water along the route.
